Halloween Tag by Cindy

Hi everyone, Today it's my turn to post on the Cutter's Creek blog. I have seen tons of cute Halloween tags on Youtube and decided to make one myself. But...I have to have some kind of practical use for it so I decided to add it to a giftbag for my sister's birthday. Her birthday is the day after Halloween so it works!

Isn't it fun? I covered a plain white giftbag with some G45 paper and then made my tag using Prima Paper Doll stamp and tag, some Cricut cuts, stickles, lace and some other odds and ends. Be sure to watch the video!

Thank You Card by Fran

I want to share a Thank You Card I made for a special lady who made Chuck and me a Cross to mark Butch’s (our pet dog) grave.  I tried a new product (new for me) on the card called Fran-tage Encrusted Jewels.  You can purchase Fran-tage from Cutters Creek Online Store.

If you like to see a great demonstration of  how to use this cool product go here to watch a YouTube video.

Card Details:
Card Base, Tag, and banner all made using Neenah Card Stock in Ivory.
Pink paper from my stash was dry embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder called Mesh.
Fran-tage on the tag and butterfly is called Shabby pink and Shabby Blue.  Plus I added Aged Gold.  In addition I added some Shaved Ice fragments that gives a Mother of Pearl look.
The tag was cut using my Cuttlebug and a Die by Marianne Design Creatables (LR0154).
The flowers, butterfly, and pink filigree swirls are from my stash.
I used Antique Linen Distress Ink on the edges of the card and banner for a vintage look.
And the card is held together using two of my favorite adhesives: Glossy Accents and Tombow Permanent Adhesive.
Attached adhesive pads to the banner for dimension.  And the banner was created in Paint Shop Pro adding the small butterfly on the corner.
All the flowers were painted with a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush.  And the pink filigree swirls were painted with Clear Glaze 3-D Glossy Ink pen by Sakura.
Remember Kim may be able to order any products I used that are not in the Cutters Creek Online Store.  You can contact Kim HERE.

Michele's Halloween Banner

Halloween is next week and I wanted to make something I could hang but not too scary. I found this SVG file I had for a banner. This files works on machines that are compatible with SCAL, like Craftwell eCraft that Kim sells in the store.  When I bought this file it comes with all the pieces you need to re-create the project.  I cut out the  pumpkin pieces, out of orange paper, the middle of the pumpkin a peach color, and then I used some yellow, for behind the eyes, black for some eyes, nose and mouth and white for some of the teeth.

The pennants are cut at 3.5 wide and I used different Halloween paper I had on hand. I used some purple n green twine from Doodle Bug Design  to hold them together. I used Scotch quick-Dry adhesive to put the pumpkins together, 3-d pop up dots for in between the last pumpkin shape to face and pumpkin and pennant. Please visit cutters creek store to find all your paper and adhesive needs and much more. Also, we have clubs you can join for 6 months on different items, just ask Kim and she will give you all the information. Thanks for stopping by and have a great Halloween.

Belated Birthday Card by Deanna M

I had to make a birthday card for a co-worker's birthday that we missed. I started with a wooden flower embellishment from Kaisercraft. I painted the flower using Sailboat Blue Paint Dabber. Once the flower was dry I embossed the flower with some Bodacious Blue WOW embossing glitter embossing powder.

My card is a white card stock base cut and folded to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card. I added a blue mat cut at 4" X 5 1/4". My patterned paper is from my stash. The floral paper was cut at 3 1/2" X 3 3/4". The striped piece was cut at 1 1/2" X 3 3/4". I took a strip of the blue paper and used a scallop punch to create a little border between the two different papers. I also added a strip of blue to the upper half of my card. I then attached my flower embellishment using a craft glue dot. I stamped my sentiment on a piece of white card stock using some Memento Danube Blue ink. I used the ink pad to ink around the edges of the white card stock.

On the inside of the card, I added a strip of the floral paper and stamped the rest of my sentiment using the Danube Blue ink.

Trick or Treat

I've been spending a lot of time trying to get my scrapbook room organized and put everything in a place that makes sense. In doing that, I've become reacquainted with things I haven't used in a while or, even worse, forgot I had. I found this little Tilda holding a pumpkin and knew I wanted to color her.
She's so cute and perfect for Halloween time. I colored her with copic markers to match the colors in my favorite My Mind's  Eye paper. It's hard because the colors in the paper are so muted. I matted the image with a couple of rectangle nestabilities and then finished the card off with a Cutters Creek gardenia.

I guess it's time to put my Halloween images and paper up for another year. I've had a lot if fun playing with some old friends.

Beautiful Pink card by Cindy

Hi everyone,

Today I am here with my DT post for Cutters Creek. This month is Breast cancer month and so just a reminder that if you are over 40 you need to get your mammogram and not to forget to do your monthly exams. I always forget to check monthly so I am most definitely going to do a better job on that. I turned 40 this year and so my Dr. has scheduled me for my first mammogram. Not too excited about it but it's just one of those things that we have to get done! My card today uses a lot of pink! Be sure to watch the video to get the recipe and see how it all gets put together.

Fight Like a Girl!!! By Deanna M

I am sure you are aware that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the Cutter's Creek Design Team is encouraging all women to get their annual mammogram!!! So I have a Breast Cancer Awareness card for you today!

My card is a center panel step card, and is cut with my Silhouette Cameo. I used a white card stock base and some pink Core' dinations card stock. I embossed the small side pieces with the Juliet Damask Anna Griffin Embossing border folders and the center decorative piece with the main embossing folder. Kim, can order this folder for you.

I cut the ribbon symbol with my Silhouette and using some Glue and Seal added some Spun Sugar Distress glitter. (Yes, this is a special order item, but please just ask)! I attached this to the card with some foam squares.

My sentiments were stamped from the Jillian Vance Design stamps with some Worn Lipstick Distress Ink. I used two sentiments from the set.

I just want to encourage all of you women out there to be sure you get your annual screenings. Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Cutters Creek Design Team Blog.
