Cutters Creek Design Team Announcements!

Earlier this year, I went hunting for a couple of Guest Designers to help us out while we had two members out on leave.   Melissa has recently had her baby (Congrats Melissa!) and she should be returning very soon to share her projects with all of us.  I know I miss all of her awesome projects and her Copic coloring is just to die for!  And Fran has been back at is and crafting once again (you go girl!) and is stronger than ever!  Fran does some amazing work that is just captivating to look at.

So out of everyone that applied (and OMG how hard to chose!) Tee & Pebbles came aboard for a three month period.  When the first of June hit, I knew I would be losing these two talented ladies and it made me a little sad.  However a spot opened up and I decided to ask one of the talented ladies to stay on board, if they would have me.  Well funny thing, I could not decide who to ask!  I kept looking at their work over and over and there were no "cons" only a ton of "pros" to them both.  So then one night it hit me (I literally smacked my forehead), it is my store and my team so why not ask both of them to stay?!?!? 

So yes, you guessed it!  I asked both of them to stay and they both accepted!!  I did such a happy dance that I think I threw my hip out of whack...........lol!

So please welcome our newest permanent Designers, Tee & Pebbles!!  Thank you so much ladies!  I adore both of you and I am so very proud to have you on my team as permanent members.

Also of note, we have a new Head Design Team Leader!!  Our very talented Deanna is our new fearless leader and I could not be more pleased!  Deanna really takes such good care of me and the Team.  She also takes such good care of my customers and potential customers as well.  Deanna is gentle, kind, informative, & loving.  She has a lot of ideas and I am excited to see her spread her wings and take the Cutters Creek in new directions while still taking care of her family and working a full time job. 

Please leave a comment for all of these ladies as this is truly a celebration into a new era as Cutters Creek turns four in August and we start marching into year number five!

Cutters Creek Announces Guest Designers!

So I decided to do a Design Team call to get a couple guest designers to help out the Design Team while we have two members on medical leave.  I had a lot of awesome ladies apply and just wish I could have taken all of them!  But alas, I only have room for two at this time.  I hope you will enjoy their work as much as I have looking over it and admiring it.  So please welcome Tee & Pebbles!  You can read all about them HERE or go to the meet the Design Team page on our blog.  These are two lovely and talented women whom I am so very proud to have on my team.  They will begin their official Design Team duties April 1st, so keep your eyes peeled for our newest designers! While cleaning and reorganizing, I came upon this photo of myself and some of the Cutters Creek Design Team Members at CHA Summer 2011.  Maybe this would have been better if I found it at Halloween……………lol!  From left to right: Laura C, Kim B. Remembering 9/11...........................

The Cutters Creek Design Team sends our many thanks to our American Heroes and those in our Armed Services, Fire Fighters, & Police Officers.  We also send our heartfelt prayers to all those who lost their loved ones  on 9/11/01.  We will never forget...............................

September Sneak with Mandie

Hey everyone! It's the very last day of August but I want to give you a little taste of what we will be doing on the Cutters Creek blog for September....


We will be creating fun projects from one of our favorite paper companies, Echo Park Paper!!! I made the card above with my Once Upon a Princess Cricut cartridge and the GORGEOUS Summer Days Papers.

We will be concluding the month with a Blog Hop and some really great prizes... you won't want to miss it!

Design Team Update!

As with all things in life, there are always changes going on around us.  Cutters Creek has been very blessed to have some wonderful designers join our team and they always make me so very proud.  Starting April 1st, I have a brand new member to the Cutters Creek Design Team.  She has let me share show so many of her projects as a Guest Designer, I just had to ask if she would like to join my team.  So everyone welcome Deanna to our Team!  I am so excited to see more of her creations along the way.

I would be remiss, if I didn't mention another new member who has been with us since March 1st.  Mindy is now a part of our team as well and has already been dazzling us with her creations this month.  I have been a fan of her work for quite some time and am so pleased she is on our team as well. 

We are now a full and well rounded Design Team with eight lovely ladies!  Our Head Design Team Leader is Mandie and our other members are Vicki, Chris, Laura, Lori, & Melissa.  Keep following what they do, as they are always coming up with great projects that are just dazzling!  I think this month, they are going to be inking up some stamps and as this is not my forte, I am looking forward to their tricks and tips this month and our Tutorial Tuesdays!  Stay tuned........................

First Entry Is Complete!

I got word today, that one of applicants for the new Cutters Creek Design Team has completed her project and is putting it in tomorrow's mail! Yippee! I can't wait to get it! I even got a sneak peek, and it is gorgeous, although pictures never give our projects the justice they deserve, so I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Design Team Search: Update!

My first group of Design Team candidates for Cutters Creek have been given their assignment! I am so excited to see what they come up with. I think I will use their projects to introduce you to each one of them, as I decide who will be on our team. Hopefully, I will be receiving envelopes in the next week or two with their works of art. I have some very talented people who are interested in being a Cutters Creek Design Team member, and hope everyone will love the DT I choose. Can you tell I am excited?!?!?
