Here is another entry in the search for a Cutters Creek Design Team. I love how all the blues come together in this gorgeous card. And isn't that bee just the cutest thing you ever saw? This is going to be a very hard decision and now I don't envy me either...........lol! Although I knew I would get a lot of beautiful art and am a pretty decisive person, the reality of picking just the right combination of personalities and talent in a Design Team is sinking in. This is another card that my photo does not do justice to as you don't get the whole bling effect. I have to say, with my son getting ready to deploy to Afghanistan, this one touched my heart just a little bit. I love all the elements and the coloring. Everything pulls together nicely and there are a lot of things going on with this card, however it looks so simple. And I love the glossy accents on her lips! I had not used this product until CHA summer 2009 and now I am hooked! So tell me what you think about this entry and leave a comment.

This is another entry that my photos just do not do justice to. Someone smack me and tell me to pull out my little photo studio, however I am slamming busy with all of your faithful customer orders..............lol! and am shipping my heart out right now! This card was so simple and cute and Angela used a product that I had no clue about, Papermania Red Shimmer Dots. This is something I am looking for from my DT, tell me..............Kim, you need to get this product! Angela used them on the hat and the shoes and I just could not help but thinking I need these! They are delicate and "blingy" at the same time. Please leave a comment and tell me what you think.

This card, I really did not do justice to with the photo, as it opens in a very interesting non traditional way that I thought to myself, "I love this concept!". I love the felt ribbon, which I have never seen before, however I am not a felt person so really don't pay attention even though felt is all the rage right now (silly me!). I hated untying the bow, as that meant I would have to tie it back up to take a picture and Michele made a beautiful bow. I loved the distressing and the simplicity and the flower deals are beautiful. So what do you think? Please leave your comments to let me know.

My photo does not really do this card justice, as this is much brighter in person. This is the entry submitted by Lisa H. I love all the bling and embossing. The snow lady is very sparkly and the use of copics and shading is very nice. And do I see Twinkle Jewels.........well yes, I do! I have a very hard decision to make and am a little bummed there will be no mail delivery today, as I am expecting more entries. Here is another entry by Sharon S. The detail to this card is incredible inside and out. I love the stitching and all the other little details. I like how Sharon used grommets to put the card together and then tie it off with ribbon. To save myself some time, I have not taken pictures of the insides of any of the entries (I may go back and do that when time allows), however the use of real leaves from Sharon's yard is stunning inside the card. Tilda & Copic Markers

I am loving my copic markers and now I am loving Tilda stamps. I need a lot of practice, as I can see mistakes on my card, however I was in a hurry to get it in today's mail. The only way you get better is to practice and show your art, so people can critique it and that is what I am doing. I sent this card off to a fellow designer and we will see what she thinks! I am hoping I can get my new DT to do a lot of coloring too!

First Entry Is Complete!

I got word today, that one of applicants for the new Cutters Creek Design Team has completed her project and is putting it in tomorrow's mail! Yippee! I can't wait to get it! I even got a sneak peek, and it is gorgeous, although pictures never give our projects the justice they deserve, so I can't wait to get my hands on it.
