Head start on Easter by Mindy

I just got back from vacation and I had a little extra time at home. I decided to get an early start on Easter. I love this little Magnolia chicken image.

I colored her with my Copic markers. To make the image look distressed like the papers , I kept going over it with my w00 marker to tone down the brightness.  My papers are from My Mind's Eye. I sewed around the border of every layer.  My image is cut out with a nestabilitie using my cuttlebug. 

It feels good to get a head start on a holiday for once. The supplies used from the Cutters Creek store are Copic markers and My Mind's Eye papers.
