The reindeer was a fun new technique for me to try since my fellow design team members use it so frequently. I used distress ink to shade the edges of the reindeer. Then, using a very small paint brush, I actually 'painted' the distress ink onto the detailed cuts that the Cricut makes to 'define' the shape (thanks, Lea, for that tip!)..and then filled in those spots that I felt should be darker on his antlers and hooves. A simple ribbon bow ties the color scheme together and gives him dimension.
