First, I assembled my card base, with the floral pattern paper and the two layers for the band near the top. I generally choose only one color of Stickles, and only one of my patterns to glitter. If you're not sure what color to use, a white or silver is generally a safe bet. Choose one area of your design to highlight. For my floral pattern, it was easy. I chose one color of rose and a coordinating color of Stickles. Then I traced the petals of the flowers with my Stickles and set the card aside to dry.
Since I was using a matching tag on my card, I highlighted the same colored areas on the tag. Here's a closeup of some of the glittered areas. Doesn't this look better than any glitter paper you've ever bought?! I love that I can use any papers I like and make them as glittery as I please, and its not going to cost me anywhere NEAR $2 a sheet!
