Kim B's Christmas Gift For Her Mom

Before I present you with my project, I wanted to share a photo from one of my craft room windows. The east coast is being pounded by a Nor’easter, and we are smack in the eye of the storm right now and are snowed in our home at the moment. We have gotten over a foot of snow, and last we heard, they are predicting two feet! Okay on to the project, and you will see what the snow has to do with all this.

As the owner of Cutters Creek, I have done little to no holiday shopping as I have been so busy with customer orders, and now their family and friend’s orders as well. This is the last shopping weekend before Christmas, and I am snowed in, so can’t shop. So I decided to use some of my ever growing stash and make gifts and also try out a new product that I am thinking about carrying over at Cutters Creek. It has been well over two months, since I have had the chance to do any serious crafting and I am having the time of my life. Thank goodness my mom loves me, and as any mom, loves her child’s art whether they are seven or forty seven, as each card is a little different. I just could not help but play! I made my mom a set of thank you cards for Christmas, as she loves to sit down and write notes to those who have given her a gift. As a child, she made me do the same thing and it was always one of those “oh, Mom!” moments, however I am glad she taught me those social graces. I will list all the products used at the end. I loved playing with my Cuttlebug, dies, tools, etc…and I love that new punch. I am thinking I just may have to put it up in the Cutters Creek store.

For my finishing touch, I boxed them in the clear boxes available at Cutters Creek and finished it off with some ribbon. Blue is my mom’s favorite color, so she should love these. Well, I am off to make more Christmas gifts, since I can’t shop! All these products and more, can be found at Cutters Creek, for your buying pleasure.

  6. These are adorable! I think I have ALL the supplies already on-hand and may try and create a little set of these cards myself.

I think it's a wonderful gift and I know it's one I would be thrilled to receive!

PS: We know have snow piling up here and it's looks very much like the picture you posted. I think the entire East Coast is going to have a WHITE Christmas for sure!!
